Please review the terms below before booking with Kittie Kare Pet Services.
1. Bookings & Availability
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once payment has been received. Enquiries do not secure dates. A meet & greet must be completed before any first-time booking is accepted.
2. Payment
Payment is required once availability has been confirmed. Bookings are not secured until payment is received, and unpaid slots may be offered to other clients. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy page for full details.
3. Keys & Home Access
Clients may choose to leave a key with Kittie Kare for future bookings. Keys are labelled without personal details and stored securely. If key collection or drop‑off is required, fees may apply. Clients are responsible for ensuring all locks, alarms, and access instructions are accurate and in working order.
4. Home Security
Your home will be treated with care and respect at all times. Doors are double‑checked on arrival and before leaving, alarms are set as instructed, and blinds or lights can be adjusted to help your home appear lived‑in. Only areas required for pet care will be accessed.
5. Pet Health & Veterinary Care
If your pet becomes unwell or injured, I will contact you immediately. If urgent care is required, I may transport your pet to your registered vet or the nearest available practice. Veterinary fees are the responsibility of the client. All medical conditions, behavioural concerns, and medication requirements must be disclosed before the booking begins.
6. Behaviour & Safety
If a pet displays behaviour that poses a risk to itself or the sitter, adjustments may be made to the visit routine. In extreme cases, services may be paused for safety reasons. Clients must inform Kittie Kare of any history of aggression, anxiety, or unusual behaviours.
7. Visit Duration & Scheduling
Standard visits last around 30 minutes. Clients may book one or two visits per day. Visit times are approximate and may vary slightly depending on traffic, weather, other pets on the schedule, or seasonal demand during busy periods. Even during peak times, every effort is made to maintain your pet’s usual routine and visit window.
8. Updates & Reports
Reports are provided per visit. Clients booking two visits per day may choose to receive a report after each visit or one combined report after the second visit.
9. Household Conditions
Clients must ensure the home environment is safe and hygienic for both pets and the sitter. Excessive mess, infestations, or unsafe conditions may result in services being paused.
10. Delayed Returns
If you are delayed returning home, additional visits can be added to ensure your pets remain safe and cared for. These visits will be charged at the standard rate. Any outstanding balance for additional visits must be paid within 48 hours of your return.
11. Extreme Weather & Emergencies
In severe weather or emergency situations, visit times may be adjusted for safety. If travel becomes unsafe, alternative arrangements will be discussed with the client.
12. Photography & Social Media
Photos taken during visits may be used for updates to the client. Photos will only be used on social media with the client’s permission. Any images shared publicly will never include personal information, identifiable location details, or anything that compromises your privacy. Photos are never posted while a visit is in progress.
13. Liability
Kittie Kare is fully insured; however, no liability is accepted for damage or loss caused by pets within the home. Clients are responsible for ensuring their home insurance covers pet sitters.
14. Privacy
All client information, keys, and access details are kept strictly confidential. Personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.
